About Prevent Child Abuse Virginia

Prevent Child Abuse Virginia is a private, nonprofit organization that strives through advocacy, education, direct services and partnerships to eliminate child abuse and neglect in the Commonwealth.

For nearly 30 years, we have served as the statewide chapter for 43 independent agencies and local Healthy Families sites that provide direct service and advocacy for families in their communities. We also train abuse prevention professionals; provide public education and awareness; advocate for children and families in legislative and other arenas, and support caregivers directly through our statewide, toll-free 800-CHILDREN parent tip line.

We invite you to partner with us to protect the childhoods, and futures, of Virginia’s children!
