Dandelions dominating your lawn

May is here and so are the weeds and insects.  Many of you have told us that you already have dandelions taking over your lawns.  You may start to notice evidence of insect pests on your lawn this month.  Don’t get frustrated there is still time to fix your lawn this spring and have a beautiful, lush lawn you can enjoy all summer long.

Beat Broadleaf Weeds this Spring
Now that we have experienced a few warmer weather days the dandelions are starting to pop up.  Broadleaf weeds like dandelions, clover and chickweed can quickly take over your lawn and can be very frustrating.  If you already have broadleaf weeds actively growing in your lawn you can apply Weed & Feed Lawn Fertilizer.  This product controls dandelions and over 250 broadleaf weeds using a superior three way weed control.  It also contains a slow-release fertilizer that will feed the desirable grass in the lawn.  Have you already fertilized this spring?  Then use our Lawn Weed Control which does not contain fertilizer.  It controls dandelions plus clover, chickweed and over 200 broadleaf weeds.

To get the best results out of either of these products be sure to apply when the weeds are actively growing and to a damp lawn.  You want the product to stick to the weed leaves.  Do not mow or water your lawn for 48 hours after applying.  Do not apply when a rainfall is expected within 48 hours.  Remember you cannot seed for four weeks after applying these products.  Want to know more?  Check out the video below:
